Bethany News Mrs. Myree WUliford (Crowded out last week) Mrs. Mozell Perry has returned home after being a patient at Mary Elizabeth for eight weeks. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Hamrick and Mr. and Mrs. William Cozart were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Connell of West End Sun day night. Mrs. Dexter Stell is confined to her home with mumps. Visitors of the Franklin Pierces last week were the F. O. Pierces and daughter, Mrs. Grady Currin and boys, Miss Phyllis Coley, Miss Perry Mangum, the J. A. Phil lips, and the Jack Creeches, all of Zebulon, Mrs. William Phillips and Mrs. Ruby Jones of Wake Forest, the James Owens and daughter of Goldsboro, Mrs. Lillian Ray and Mrs. John Blackard. Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Cook spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holden, of Wake Cross Roads. Visitors of the G. H. Coxes dur ing the weekend were Mrs. Daniel Dean, the Jiim Watkins, the C. Mrs. Myree Williford spent Fri day in Raleigh with Mrs. Bennie Williford. The Russell Broughtons of Walk ers Cross Roads visited Mr. and Mrs. Ira Dean Sunday p.m. Mrs. Maude Peebles of Raleigh was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Peebles Sunday. The Dwight Mattoxes of Dunn were supper guests of the J. P. Robertsons Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Davis of Knightdale visited the James Greens Sunday. Mrs. Frank Robertson of Roles ville visited Mrs. P. P. Perry Tuesday p.m. Visitors of Mamie Watson last week were Mrs. Maude Pearce, Mrs. Jackie Cone and baby of Zeb ulon, Miss Joy Dean, Jimmy Gold ston, the Johnnie Edwards and son of Raleigh, Mrs. Nell Jones and son of Wake Forest, and Pastor Dan Silvers and son, Mike. Mr. Holden of Wake Cross Road. Mr. Phillips of Smithfield' was present for services Sunday. He will start music lessons at the church Tuesday night for the bene fit of the entire church. Every one interested please attend all les sons. The Wednesday night Bible Study is now at 7:30. E. B. Parrish, Mrs. Ruth Price, Mrs. Gladys Johnson and Mrs. Wilson Bailey are all patients in Rex Hospital. Mrs. Carlton Hinnant is a pa tient at Mary Elizabeth Hospital. Johnnie Pearce is still very sick at his home. Mrs. Allie Hocutt is much bet ter. Loomis M. Parrish, Jr. of Bur lington was a weekend guest of the M. B. Alfords. He visited the Fer nie Hocutts Sunday and they all visited Ernest Parrish at Rex Hos pital Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Lovie Cooke of Zebulon and Mrs. W. E. O’Neal, this week. Mr. O’Neal, too, is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wilder visited the Charles Wilders of Dur ham last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Johnson and daughters, Sandra and Debra, were Sunday night supper guests of the Melvin Johnson. The Newman Hocutts of Dur ham were weekend guests of the D. J. Smiths. Mr. Smith, Mrs. Ho cutt’s father, is ill. , The Robin O’Neals of Raleigh were Saturday night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Johnson. The Jimmie Johnsons of Smith field were weekend guests of the Bat Creeches. The James Garners of Raleigh were Sunday guests of the Lea mon Hocutts. Sunday guests of the Ed Hocutts were the Ray Hocutts of Fuquay Springs, Miss Gretchen Hocutt of Wendell, the Bobby Hollomans and the Thomas Fowlers, all of Ra leigh.
